Dr. Adedipe is the founder and Chief Consultant of B. Adedipe Associates Limited (BAA Consult). With over 45 years of post-graduate work and professional experience in university teaching, investment banking, project finance, management and financial consulting as well as leadership in business and not-for-profit organizations.
‘Biodun has had an illustrious career that took him through the University of Lagos, Enterprise Consulting Group, the World Bank (Africa Region), International Merchant Bank Plc, and First City Monument Bank Plc.
He received his Doctorate degree in Industrial Economics (specializing in Corporate Finance) from the University of Lagos in 1989 and B.Sc. in Economics (First Class) from the University of Ife (now, Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU) in 1980, and bagged several awards in the process, including Sir Adam Thomson scholarship as visiting doctoral student to the University of Sussex, UK (1984).
He is a member of several respected professional bodies and membership associations, including the Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria (Fellow & Council Member), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (Fellow & Chairman, Strategy & Advocacy Committee of Council), The Nigeria Economic Society (Life Member), American Economic Association and Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Council Member and Chairman, Economics & Statistics Committee).
‘Biodun founded BAA Consult in February 1993, and he was responsible for charting and managing the firm’s strategy and activities since operations commenced in March 1994 up until May 2024 when he retired from the firm.
He sits on the boards of a couple profit-seeking and not-for-profit organizations in diverse capacities as Chairman, Non-Executive Director and Independent Director.
She has some 32 years of work experience Stock-brokerage (IMB Securities Limited, subsidiary of IMB International Bank Plc) (on secondment during 1985-1995) Merchant Banking (IMB International Organisation Plc, legacy of FinBank Plc and now of First City Monument Bank Plc) (1995-2000). At various times, she was Head of the Benefits Unit of the Organisation and set up Administrative Operations Control Unit of which she was the Head until she exited the Organisation Financial/Management Consulting (B. Adedipe Associates Limited) (February 2000 till date)

‘Laide John is a seasoned strategy consultant, financial expert, and business transformation specialist with over 15 years of experience spanning insurance, financial services, management consulting, and corporate strategy execution. With a track record of facilitating high-level strategy sessions and leading thought-provoking discussions, bringing deep expertise in business transformation, digital innovation, emerging technologies, and financial inclusion.
She holds a Diploma in Strategy Execution from Harvard Business School, an M.Sc. in Management and Entrepreneurship (Distinction) from the University of Sussex, UK, and a B.Sc. in Microbiology from the University of Lagos.
She is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD), Nigeria; Fellow, Institute of Certified Business Consultants (ICBC), Fellow Associate, Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (FERP), and the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
Olaide has served, and continues to serve, on several strategic committees, including the CIoD Annual Directors Conference Planning Committee, NMP Microinsurance Company Steering Committee and CIoD Rebranding Committee.
Her professional experience includes a senior role in the UK insurance sector as a Senior Resolution Specialist at Domestic & General, UK, where she led process improvements and strategic customer solutions.
With a strong passion for technology-driven business solutions and strategic innovation, Laide has successfully led multiple consulting projects, advising top-tier clients on strategy development & execution, financial advisory, and digital transformation for organizations across the financial and non-financial sectors. She brings extensive experience in business transformation, AI’s impact on business strategy, and technology-driven strategy execution, ensuring organizations leverage emerging technologies for sustainable growth.
She is currently the Managing Consultant/CEO of B. Adedipe Associates (BAA Consult).
