Mr. Olatunji Cole (ACA, MBA, ACTI) is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and practicing Auditor. He manages his own firms as the Managing Partner of Olatunji Cole & Co (a firm of chartered Accountants), and the Principal Consultant of CAFOT Consulting (a firm of Financial, Management and Tax Consultants).

  • Mr. Akintola possesses holds both BSc. and MSc. degrees in Economics and a Fellowship Member of the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals; the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is also a Senior Associate member of the Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN).
  • Prior to his banking/financial services working experience which spans over 20years, he had over 5years working experience in Professional Accounting, Audit and Management Consultancy Services. His banking experienced commenced as an Internal Auditor in International Merchant Bank Plc (IMB) in September 1992, where he rose to become the Head General Accounts and Management information systems in 1996 before proceeding to Express Discount House as the Chief Inspector from 1997 to 2005. He then became Head, Credit Risk Management of the Company from 2005 to 2006.
  • He later joined Access Bank Plc as the Deputy Group Head of the Compliance and Internal Control department with complementary responsibility as Head Operational Risk Management of the Bank up till December 2007. He moved to Afribank Nigeria Plc. (later Mainstreet Bank Limited) as the Head, Operational Risk, and subsequently Acting Head, Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Prior to his recent appointment as Chief Compliance Officer with FSDH Merchant Bank Limited, he was Chief Risk & Compliance Officer with Associated Discount House Limited (ADH) now Coronation Merchant Bank Limited since November 2010 to February 2016.

Responsibilities also include acting as the ALCO secretariat, prospecting and maintaining correspondent banking relationships and product development initiatives amongst others.

He began his career as an Analyst with Avery Weigh-Tronix in the UK and subsequently joined BAA Consult (a Financial and Management Consulting firm) as a Research Economist in the Research unit.

  • Uwa is a Partner and Head of a Law Firm named Jackson, Etti and Edu in the Intellectual Property Department (IP) of the Firm, with over twenty five (25) years specialist experience she handles the local IP portfolios of numerous blue chip international corporations based particularly in the US and Europe. She oversees the Trademarks, Patents & Designs and Domain Name Practice Areas of the firm.
  • Uwa contributed to the draft of the Trademark Bill before the National Assembly that would amend Nigeria’s Intellectual Property law and make it TRIPS (Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights) Compliant. She is a regular speaker at local and international seminars and conferences relating to Intellectual Property. She was a member of Committee of Experts, appointed by the Federal Science & Technology Minister in April 2011, to review the Draft Science, Technology & Innovation Policy’s compliance with Intellectual Property law.
  • Uwa is a member of the WIPO Domain Name Panel and has worked on a number of domain disputes.   • His on the job experience cuts across various sectors of the economy particularly: finance house, merchant and commercial banking, audit, consulting and teaching among others and has held various managerial positions.
  • Felix was in the banking industry for fifteen years during which he worked in domestic operations, inspection, corporate finance, head of branch operations, branch management, head of investigation, head of foreign operations, recovery and regional business controller.
  • He has been a training consultant to FITC since 1996 and to BAA Consult since 2013. Felix is currently the CEO of F. Agboola & Associates Limited.
  • Mr. Oluseye David Awojobi, FCIBis the Registrar/Chief Executive of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). His appointment is a pivotal fragment of the strategic efforts to sustain the transformation initiatives of the Institute.

 

  • Prior to his appointment, Mr. Awojobi occupied several notable strategic positions in the Institute such as Group Head, Ethics and Professionalism; Head, Directorate of Education; Head, Directorate of Consultancy, Training and Research, Zonal Coordinator(Northern Region)

 

  • Before joining the Institute in the year 2000, he was the Admin Manager, CIBN Lagos Branch, 1996- 1999; Assistant Manager/Head, Banking Operation, Greenfield Mortgage Finance Co. Ltd., 1993 – 1995 and Manager, Peoples Emergency Deposit Scheme (PEDS), Peoples Bank of Nigeria, 1992.

 

  • Mr. Awojobi, a seasoned professional banker and an astute scholar holds a Master’sin Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance from the OlabisiOnabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State. He is not only a Fellow of the Institute but also a Life Member of The Institute of Directors, Nigeria; Associate member, Institute of Chartered Mediators & Conciliators; and The Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered). Not resting on his oars, Mr. Awojobi is currently a Doctorate Student in Entrepreneurship, at Babcock University, Ilishan, Ogun State.

 

  • Mr. Awojobi, a consultant of distinct repute and an associate of BAA consult, has consulted for several organisations in the areas of people, strategy and systems including the FGN/EU State Economic Empowerment Development Strategy (SEEDS) assessment. He was a member of the Human Capital Development and Information Communication Technology Consultancy Committee of the FSS 2020 Project of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
    • Mr. Seye Awojobi has garnered international exposures in the management of professional Banking Institutes from various countries including United Kingdom, United States of America, Scotland, Finland, Germany, Malaysia, Korea, India, South Africa, Ghana and The Gambia.

    • He brings to fore his exceptional leadership qualities, professional skills and years of cognate experience to bear in the management of the Institute for better service delivery and value addition to all stakeholders.

    • He is happily married with children.
  • Fredrick is a combined honors degree graduate in Economics/Education from the Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos and holder of Masters in Business Administration from the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

 

  • He started his career in 1986 at the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria where he rose through the ranks until 1999 having served in various capacities. In his quest for career growth, he went into management consulting in 1999 with Feband Consulting as one of the Associate Consultants, where he supported the firm to develop strategic framework/policies in Human resources, Marketing, Administration and facilitated as a resource person on the faculty of the firm.

 

  • He left in 2001 and joined the then Omega Bank Plc as Assistant Manager in the Corporate Services Division, which comprise of human resources, branch development, fleet management, office management, amongst others key departments. As it is banking practice, the bank identified his skills in banking operations and he was moved to branch operations under business development in 2002 where he made his mark.
    • In 2003 and in his unquenchable thirst and knack for more professional/career exposure, he resigned his appointment and joined the services of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers in the Admin and Legal Department as Assistant Manager responsible for the implementation of administrative and legal policies of the institute until 2005. In 2005, he was engaged as the Assistant Director Admin/HR at the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria, an international NGO affiliated to the University of Maryland, Baltimore USA funded to implement the treatment, care and support for people infected and living with HIV/AIDs, TB, Malaria, research and capacity development for health workers, etc.

    • In 2008, Mr. Hayes was elevated to Ag. Director Admin/HR, having satisfied the requirements  for the Acting capacity after six months and was promoted as the substantive Director of Administration/HR, the position he currently occupies where he superintends over Admin, Human resources, Fleet management, Legal, IT, Safety and Security, and office management each of which unit is headed by at least a manager. IHVN has a total staff strength of 800 employees as at today.

    • As part of the growth process in the NGO sector, in 2011 he established and at present he is the Chairman of the Development Support Services Group (a group of heads of Admin, HR and Finance in the sector). The members meet on a monthly basis to share best practices in these key areas to enhance and add value to their performance in their respective organizations.

    • He belongs to some professional institutes, among which are the Nigerian Institute of Management, Nigerian Economic Society, Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (Fellow). Mr. Hayes is a member of IBB International Golf & Country Club, Abuja and Club Arcade Lagos. He is happily married with children.
  • Larry is an Economist, a consummate banker and HR Professional with over two and a half decades of cognate work experience. He is a Deputy Director in the Human Resources Department of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He has worked in several departments of the Central Bank of Nigeria, including Development Finance, Research, Monetary Policy, Operations, and the CBN Training Institute.

 

  • Dr. Abasiakan is a full member of CIMN and has served in various committees of the institute. He also serves in several committees in the Central bank and was the Chair of the implementation Committees of the role of the OLMS System for Learning Management in the bank.

Started his career as a Human Resource Officer and Consultant with the leading Risk Consulting and People Management Firm and later extended my career to another management consulting firm where he led a combined units of employee outsourcing (with over 2,000 employees) and the verification unit before moving to become the Human Resource Manager in an indigenous original equipment manufacturer. He also have stint with the leading indigenous consulting firm where he has been involved in uncovering and shaping business opportunities for the firm and leading teams of Business Analysts and Consultants to deliver projects.

 

  • Over this period, he went through extensive international and local trainings in Human Resources Management and participated in several consulting projects from design to implementation. Some of the projects include executive recruitment, staff assessment, job analysis, performance management framework design, organisation design/corporate restructuring, process mapping, HR policy review/development, HR strategy, operating model and governance set-up, employee engagement survey etc.

  • Morenike, a human resource expert and training consultant, is a Soft Skills expert as well as a seasoned speaker in both business and religious circles. She has in the last few years, been speaking to women on women issues, encouraging them to use their talents.
  • She has very many years of experience in office administration back in the oil industry, where she worked in two American oil companies for over a period of 2 decades. She was General Manager, HR & Admin of Design Options Limited, an interior design outfit in Lagos. A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and the Prison Fellowship of Nigeria,
  • Morenike offers free voluntary Christian support during her leisure time to inmates in the 5 Prisons in Lagos State. She was also the General Manager, Arksego Nigeria Ltd., one of the leading security outfits in Nigeria.
